Justin Thomas, who didn’t play in the morning session at the Ryder Cup today, picked up the USA’s first half-point in this year’s competition in the afternoon session. Thomas, paired with Jordan Spieth, halved their match with Victor Hovland and Tyrrell Hatton.

The NFL and NFLPA announced a revised gambling policy with lighter penalties for players who bet on non-NFL games. As a result, the league announced that Jameson Williams, who has missed the first four weeks on what was to be a 6-game suspension, will be reinstated on Monday.

The NBA will suspend current free agent Josh Primo for four games for conduct detrimental to the league. The suspension is related to Primo exposing himself to a team psycologist in 2022. The suspension clears the way for Primo to sign a two-way contract with the Los Angeles Clippers. A team official describes the due diligence that the team did prior to signing Primo.

Saketh Myneni settled for a silver medal in Men’s Doubles at the Asian Games today. Myneni and partner Ramkumar Ramanathan lost in straight sets to a Taiwanese team. Myneni, who last appeared in the Asian Games in 2014, now has 3 Asian Games medal (previously won gold in Mixed Doubles and silver in Men’s Doubles).

Alexey Nesterov has reached the finals of this week’s ITF World Tour event in Tunisia. Nesterov is playing in just his fifth ITF event since finishing his collegiate eligibility in 2021. His previous-best doubles result was reaching a quarterfinal.
