Mac Jones led an 8-play, 75 yard drive that culminated in a go-ahead touchdown with 15 seconds left to give New England a 29-25 win over Buffalo. Jones finished the day 25-for-30 for 272 yards and 2 passing touchdowns, for a QB rating of 126.7 (his highest rating of the season).

The hype for the Tua Tagovailoa / Jalen Hurts match-up tonight has grabbed all of the headlines, but Miami / Philadelphia featured 12 active players from Alabama (7 for the Eagles and 5 for the Dolphins). Here is the montage that NBC used to lead into the telecast. Full stats from the game are below.

Kareem Jackson played in his 200th regular season game today, becoming just the fourth former Alabama player to reach that plateau. Jackson joins Chris Mohr (239 games), Howard Cross (207 games), and Cornelius Bennett (206 games). On a side note, Jackson was disqualified for second time this season following an unnecessary roughness penalty, and will be fined for the 5th time in 7 weeks.
Nealy Martin and NJ/NY Gotham FC advanced to the NWSL semifinals with a 2-0 over North Carolina tonight. Martin will face Reyna Reyes and the Portland Thorns in the semifinals.
Luisa Blanco debuted at the Pan American Games today in the team championships. Colombia finished 5th overall in the team competition. Blanco, for her part, was Colombia’s leading scorer with 49.431 points, which placed her as the 10th highest overall scorer. All-Around competition is tomorrow.
Robby Shelton rallied to post a T-4th finish at the Zozo Championship in Japan, marking his best finish on the PGA Tour since a T-3rd finish at the 2020 3M Open (which, ironically, was won by Michael Thompson).
