USA Women’s Wheelchair Basketball won the gold medal at the Para Pan American Games with a 62-56 win over Canada in a game that included 8 current or former Alabama Adapted athletes. Team USA secured an automatic bid to the 2024 Paris Paralympics with the win. Lindsey Zurbrugg scored 17 points for USA.
Robin Stephenson has been selected to coach Team USA for the Master’U BNP Paribas Championship in France next week.
