NFL Draft – Day 2 Recap

The 2024 NFL Draft continued with Rounds 2 and 3 held tonight. Alabama players selected were:

  • Kool-Aid McKinstry – New Orleans Saints (2nd round, 41st overall)
  • Chris Braswell – Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2nd round, 57th overall)
  • Jermaine Burton – Cincinnati Bengals (3rd round 80th overall).

Other News

The Detroit Lions got both the best player available and filled a glaring need when they selected Terrion Arnold in the first round. And Lions GM Brad Holmes, who has selected an Alabama player in the first round of each of the last three drafts, shares why he likes players from the Alabama program.

Jim Jarvis hit a 2-run homer in the top of the 10th inning to give Lakeland a 6-4 win tonight.

Community Outreach

Evan Neal will be hosting his 2nd annual youth football camp on June 8 in Okeechobee, Florida. Admission will be free.
