Kristian Gkolomeev continued his domination at the Greek National Swimming Championships, this time winning the Men’s 100m Freestyle. Gkolomeev swept the three individual events in which he competed.
Justin Thomas couldn’t make a run at the top of the leaderboard, but did post a Top 10 finish at the PGA Championship (T-8th, to be exact). Lee Hodges did move up into the Top 5 on the back nine, but two late bogeys dropped him to T-12th. Still, the T-12t finish is by far his best career finish in a major championship. Previous best was a T55 finish at last year’s PGA Championship.
Wenonah High School retired Quinnen Williams’ jersey at halftime of its spring game this weekend.
Rosters have been named for Levi Randolph’s Summer Classic, which will be in Huntsville in late June. Included among the participants are Kira Lewis, Trevor Lacey, Nick King, and Reggie Ragland.
The Community Unity Collective 4 Mississippi is honoring Mo Williams with its “Community Champion Award” at an event on June 1.
