Frankie Capan shot a 3rd round 62 to take the lead at the Visit Knoxville Open on the Korn Ferry Tour. Capan has a one-shot lead going into tomorrow’s finale.
Today was the last day of the season in Austria’s ÖFB Frauen-Bundesliga, which ends a three-month stint for the Alabama trio of Marianna Annest, Macy Clem, and Ashlynn Serepca with FC Pinzgau Saalfelden. Clem and Serepca both had hat tricks in Saalfelden’s 13-0 finale. Saalfelden finished 11-1 in the 12 games in which the trio played. Serepca finished the season with 16 goals, which was one short of Pia Rijsdijk’s 17 goals scored for ADO Den Haag (Netherlands) for the most-ever goals scored by an Alabama professional. Serepca scored 16 in 12 matches, while Rijsdijk’s came in 21 matches.
