News
Davis Riley, with a four-stroke lead coming into today, played mostly-par golf in windy conditions to win the Charles Schwab Challenge by five strokes. Riley’s lead never got closer than three shots. It’s Riley’s second career PGA Tour win, and the first in an individual event. He’ll now be eligible to compete in the remaining signature events this season, and is exempt through the 2026 season.
Frankie Capan, who led the Visit Knoxville Open by a stroke, had lost his lead but birdied 18 to force a playoff with Harry Higgs. Capan would lose on the second playoff hole after Higgs sank an eagle putt. The second place finish is the best of Capan’s career.
RSV Lahn-Dill, whose roster include Alabama Adapted alums Catharina Weiss and Jannik Blair, have won the German Wheelchair Basketball championship.
