Merel Van Dongen and Tanna Sánchez Carreto are champions! Rayadas de Monterrey, down 1-0 to Club América in aggregate score going into the final game of the Liga MX Femenil championship series, scored a go-ahead goal in the 11th minute of extra time to give Rayadas a 2-2 tie in aggregate score. Monterrey prevailed in penalty kicks, 4-3, with Van Dongen scoring one of the goals.
