Lauren Stephenson takes a 4-shot lead into the final round of the Twin Bridges
Championship on the Epson Tour. A win would be the first of Stephenson’s professional career.

McKinley Crone officially made her professional debut today in the Orlando Pride’s Summer Cup match against the North Carolina Courage. Crone got the call because Orlando’s starting goalkeeper is on international call-up. Orlando’s match also saw the return of Celia Jiménez Delgado, who has been sidelined since April with a hip injury. Crone made 5 saves in regulation, and stopped 2 penalty kicks. Delgado scored an equalizing goal on a rebound at 82′.

Jereem Richards ran a personal best 44.18 seconds in the Men’s 400 Meter at the London Diamond League meet. Richards finished 3rd in a very rapid race, which saw the top four all post personal bests.

Dre Kirkpatrick and his 21Kids Foundation hosted his annual “Backpacks and Barbeque” event in Gadsden today.
