Alabama Pro Athlete of the Week – Jameson Williams (September 9, 2024)

Your Alabama Pro Athlete of the Week is Jameson Williams. Williams had a career-high 121 receiving yards and a touchdown on five catches in Detroit’s season-opening overtime win. Williams had 134 total yards from scrimmage.

Annika Zeyen won two bronze medals at the Paris Paralympics in handbike para cycling events.

Abby Bauleke, Ixhelt Gonzalez, Lindsey Zurbrugg, Bailey Moody, and Emily Oberst were part of the United States women’s wheelchair basketball team, which won the silver medal at the Paris Paralympics.

Thomas Ponder finished T-11th at the Fortinet Cup Championship.

Dicky Pride finished T-12th at the Ascension Charity Classic.

Kirani James won the Men’s 400 Meter at a meet in Italy.
