Celia Jiménez Delgado announced today that she will be retiring from professional soccer at the end of the NWSL season. Delgado has appeared in 70 NWSL games with the Orlando Pride and Seattle Reign, and has 23 caps with the Spanish National Team (including Women’s World Cup appearances in 2015 and 2019). She has also played professionally in Sweden, Australia, and France. Earlier this season, she was the Orlando Pride’s nomimee for the 2024 Lauren Holiday Impact Award for her work with the SpaceKids Global program.

Erin Routliffe and partner Gabriela Dabrowski finished the round robin phase at the WTA Finals undefeated at 3-0 and advance to the semifinals.
