The Washington Commanders released Jonathan Allen today, ending Allen’s 8-year run with the team. Washington granted Allen permission to seek a trade last month, but having found no takers, released Allen just ahead of the new league year. Allen is immediately free to sign with any team.

Davis Riley followed up yesterday’s 64 with a 66 today at the Puerto Rico Open, and is -14, solo 2nd at the halfway mark. Riley is one shot off the lead.
