Alabama Pro Athlete of the Week – Bud Cauley (March 17, 2025)

Your Alabama Pro Athlete of the Week is Bud Cauley. Cauley finished T-6th at the Players Championship after starting the week as alternate. With the 250 FedEx Cup points, Cauley wrapped up the terms of his medical extension and is exempt for rest of the 2025 season.

Collin Sexton had a pair of 22-point games, including a 22 point, 8 rebound, 7 assist game.

Noah Clowney scored 19 points off the bench for Brooklyn.

J.D. Davison had a 23 point, 9 rebound, 10 assist game and a 34 point, 5 rebound, 5 assist game for Maine.

Braxton Key averaged 24.3 points and 9.3 rebounds in 3 games for Santa Cruz.

Jaden Shackelford averaged 27.0 points for Valley, and hit 3 game-winning free throws in overtime of one game.

Levi Randolph’s 17-point game led Tel Aviv to an upset win in EuroLeague play.

Javian Fleming-Davis had a 30 point, 16 rebound game for Imortal Albufiera.

Donta Hall was a perfect 3-for-3 from the field and 5-for-5 from the line in Baskonia’s ACB game this week.

Justin Thomas tied a course record with a second-round 62 at the Players Championship.

Thomas Ponder finished 2nd on the Emerald Coast Golf Tour.

Patrick Kaukovalta was a doubles finalist in one event (rain-delayed from last week) and a doubles semifinalist this week.

Andrew Pinckney homered in his first at-bat during the Spring Breakout showcase. Also at the Spring Breakout, Dylan Ray worked 2 scoreless innings with 2 strikeouts, while Greg Farone struck out 2 batter in 1 inning of work.

Krystal Rivers had 23 points and a 58% attack efficiency in Stuttgart’s win.
