Former Alabama softball player and current Louisiana-Monroe head coach Molly Fichtner has been named 2025 Sun Belt Coach of the Year. Fichtner’s Warhawks squad has won its most regular season games since 1997 this season.
Matt Foster made his debut with Algodoneros Unión Laguna of Liga Mexicana de Beisbol tonight. Foster worked an inning in Laguna’s win over Monterrey.
