In a blockbuster NFL trade today, Minkah Fitzpatrick was acquired by the Miami Dolphins in exchange for Jalen Ramsey and Jonnu Smith (2027 draft picks were included in the trade). Fitzpatrick returns to the organization that originally drafted him in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
One-time Alabama track & field athlete Jaimie Robinson has joined the coaching staff at Illinois. Robinson will work primarily with jumps and combined events.
NBA teams have started announcing Summer League rosters for the upcoming California Classic, Salt Lake Summer League, and Las Vegas Summer League. In most cases, final rosters won’t be announced until a day or two before each league starts. Thus far, the following former Alabama players have been announced as participants:
