Rayadas de Monterrey announced today that Merel Van Dongen has agreed to extend her contract for one month, and will play in two more matches for Monterrey: a friendly vs Houston Dash on July 8, and the Champion of Champions match vs Pachuca on July 16.
Peyton Grantham has been named athletic director at Elberta High School in Baldwin County, Alabama. Grantham is the first female athletic director in the school’s history, and just the second in Baldwin County.
Gerald Wallace is taking over a seat on the Childersburg (Alabama) City Council. Wallace was registered to run for the Ward C seat, and the incumbent withdrew from the race on the last day of qualification.
