ESPN is reporting that Herb Jones and the New Orleans Pelicans have agreed to a contract extension worth $68 million over three years. Jones would now be under contract through the 2028-29 season, with a player option for the 2029-30 season.
Najee Harris suffered a superficial eye injury at a 4th of July celebration as a result of a fireworks accident. Harris’ agent issued a statement claiming that Harris is fully expected to be ready for the upcoming NFL season.
