Zaay Green has signed with Kibirkštis Vilnius of Lithuania’s Moterų Lyga (its premier league). Vilnius also competes in the EuroLeague. That’s a big first overseas assignment for Green – Vilnius has won the last 5 Moterų Lyga titles.
Maria Martinez Vaquero (partnered with Alba Rey Garcia) advanced to the doubles finals of the ITF event in Don Benito, Spain with a win today over the tournament’s top seeds. The pair will play for their second title tomorrow. Likewise, Margaux Maquet and Maria Andrienko (partnered together) breezed to a straight-set victory over the top seeds to reach the finals of the Casablanca ITF event. The pair are seeking their first title together.
Bryce Eblin was activated from the Injured List today, and finally made his professional debut for the ACL White Sox. He served as DH this evening, and singled in a run.
