Riley Tanner factored in both goals in Sydney’s 2-0 win over Perth Glory today. Tanner set up Bianca Galic’s goal at the 57-minute mark. Then, after an hours-long lightning delay, Tanner would score her first Australian League goal at the 70-minute mark.

Nedya Sawan and the Vancouver Rise won the inaugural Northern Super League championship with a 2-1 win over AFC Toronto today. Sawan did not appear in the championship match.

Alabama signee Karla Bartel, playing the professional ITF circuit this fall before she enrolls at Alabama in January, won her first professional doubles title at Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt today.

Multiple sources are reporting that Jahvon Quinerly has signed to play with Shanghai of the Chinese Basketball League, which begins play in December. Quinerly announced his retirement from basketball last year when he finished his collegiate eligibility, but has recently been playing in 1-vs-1 tournaments.
