One day after announcing his withdrawal from the 2026 Alabama Lieutenant Governor race, AJ McCarron was today announced as the new head coach of the UFL’s Birmingham Stallions. McCarron indicated that his staff and roster would have a state of Alabama flavor to it. At 35, McCarron is the youngest head coach in professional football.
