News

Lee Hodges and Justin Thomas both posted their lowest-ever opening rounds at the Players Championship. Hodges, in the afternoon wave, shot a 67, and at -5, is in a five way tie for the lead. Justin Thomas went out early and shot a 68. He’s one behind the co-leaders at -4.

Jedrick Wills is officially back in the NFL after sitting out the 2025 season in order to recuperate from two years of knee problems. Wills has signed a one-year deal with the Chicago Bears.

The Philadelphia Eagles have restructured Landon Dickerson’s contract, resulting in Dickerson now having two remaining years instead of three years.

Jonathan Allen and the Cincinnati Bengals have agreed to a two-year, $28 million contract. Allen was released by the Minnesota Vikings after one season for salary cap reasons.
