The NFL Players Association released its annual Top 50 Player Sales List today. The annual list captures sales of licensed jerseys, apparel, collectibles, among other items from March through February. Former Alabama players on this year’s Top 50 list are Jalen Hurts (7th), Jahmyr Gibbs (16th), Patrick Surtain II (33rd), and Derrick Henry (46th).
Maruschka Waldus will serve as an assistant coach for the Ninja A-League All-Stars in a match vs Chelsea FC later this summer as part of the Sydney Super Cup.
Athletes Unlimited’s AU Softball League kicked off its second season of permanent team league play tonight. This season features two new teams, along with permanent homes for each team. Montana Fouts is the lone player in the league who finished her career at Alabama, and she returns as a starter for the Utah Talons. Former Alabama players in the league are Kenleigh Cahalan (Portland Cascade), Lexi Kilfoyl and Skylar Wallace (both of the Chicago Bandits). Kilfoyl and Wallace are both currently finishing out half-seasons in Japan and aren’t yet available for the Bandits.
