Justin Lebron was selected by the Cincinnati Reds with the 18th pick of the first round of the MLB Draft. Lebron becomes the second-highest selection from Alabama in the modern era of the draft (first being Joe Vitiello, who went 7th in the 1991 draft).
Turkish powerhouse and EuroLeague participate Fenerbahçe Erkek Basketbol today announced the signing of Braxton Key to a two-year contract. Key announced last week that he would not be re-signing with Valencia Basket for the upcoming season.
Thomas Ponder continued his strong play at the Explore NB Open with a season-low 62 in today’s 3rd round. Ponder leads the tournament by a stroke going into tomorrow’s final round. He’ll be seeking his first career win on the Americas Tour.
