Thomas Ponder, leader or co-leader at the end of each of the first three rounds, shot a final round 65 to win the Explore NB Open by three strokes. The win is Ponder’s first win on the PGA Tour Americas, and he takes over the points lead with seven events remaining. Ponder’s -28 was the lowest score in relation to par in tour history. Former teammate Charlie Nikitas shot a final round 64 to finish T-8th for his best finish this season.

The 2026 MLB Draft concluded today with three more Alabama players being drafted. Tyler Fay and Zane Adams were picked in the 6th round within a couple of picks of each other, with Fay being drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates and Adams going to the Baltimore Orioles. Brady Neal’s name was called in the 8th round, and he’ll join Justin Lebron with the Cincinnati Reds. Former Alabama players Beau Bryans and Ariston Veasey were also drafted.
