The PGA Tour announced today that Trey Mullinax has been suspended for six months for testing positive for a substance prohibited by the World Anti-Doping Agency. Mullinax released a statement in conjunction with the suspension accepting responsibility for the failed test. Without naming the medication, Mullinax sad that he recently used a medication to treat a condition that he was originally diagnosed with in collected, and did not seek prior approval from the Tour.
