News

Fresh off a Women’s Premier Soccer League championship with KC Current II, Itala Gemelli has been signed to a short-term contract by the development team’s parent club, the Kansas City Current. Gemelli served as team captain for the Current II this past season.

Kennedy Garcia scored the match’s only goal in Puerto Rico’s 1-0 win over Jamaica at the Central America and Caribbean Games.

Erin Routliffe and partner Aldila Sutjiadi have advanced to the doubles finals at the Mubadala DC Open.

Likewise, Kristina Paskauskas and partner Savannah Dada-Mascoll have reached the doubles finals at the ITF event in Aldershot, England. Paskauskas is seeking her third career ITF doubles title in a professional event, and her first since becoming a professional (she won twice in 2022 while still in college).
