Montana Fouts threw a complete game 1-hit shutout to lead the US Women’s National Team to a 2-0 win over Japan in the gold medal game of the USA Softball International Cup. Fouts carried a perfect game into the 7th inning before surrendering a lead-off single, and was named Most Valuable Pitcher of the tournament.
