Kalia Antoniou picked up a second gold medal today at the Mediterranean Games, with this one coming in the Women’s 50 Meter Freestyle. The swimming portion of the Games concluded today.
Hoover High School has retired Krystle Johnson’s jersey. Johnson led Hoover to its first-ever girls basketball state championship in 2001. Johnson has since won six straight championships for Hoover as the girls basketball coach.
