For the second time this week, Leonardo Alcântara set a new South American short course record at the José Finkel Trophy meet in Brazil. Today he won the Men’s 800m Freestyle with a time of 7:37.47 for the new continental record. Earlier in the week, he set new continental record in the Men’s 400m Freestyle.
