Trey Mullinax shot a 62 to take a three stroke lead going into the final round at the Orange County National Championship. Mullinax’s round included an eagle, eight birdies, and a bogey. He’ll be trying to win his second career Korn Ferry Tour event tomorrow.

Merel Van Dongen scored her first goal as a member of the Atlético de Madrid side today. It looked like Van Dongen’s goal would lead to a 1-0 win, but Tenerife scored in the 90th minutes to make it a draw.

Alana Gonçalo Da Silva and Bola Olaniyan both had season openers today, both in Spain (Da Silva with Melilla in the women’s Division 2, and Olaniyan in the LEB Plata league). For Da Silva, it’s her first season in Spain after having previously played in her native Brazil. Olaniyan played in Spain last season, but is with a new team.

Terrell Lewis was activated today by the Los Angeles Rams, and is in line to make his NFL debut tomorrow.
