News

Justin Thomas sank birdies on 16 and 17 to regain the solo lead after three rounds at the ZOZO Championship. Thomas started the round with the same one-shot lead, but found himself down by a couple of strokes going into the back nine. Through three rounds, Thomas is -19 overall, including -15 on the back nine. Some highlights from the round:

Retin Obasohan, unsigned as most of the European leagues began their 2020-21 season, lands with one of the most successful franchises in all of Europe. ERA Basketball Nymburk of the Czech Republic’s National Basketball League, signed Obasohan for the rest of the season after having lost one of its guards to a Spanish team. Nymburk has won 17 straights NBL championships, as well as the last 4 Czech Cups. Nymburk is off to a 6-0 start in the NBL this season, and will also will play in the Champions League.

Anton McKee made his International Swim League debut in grand fashion, winning the 200m breaststroke in personal-best time of 2:01.73. He also improves upon his Icelandic National Record in that category. McKee would also post a second-place finish in the 50m breaststroke.

Jared Mayden was a surprise elevation from the San Francisco 49er practice squad for Week 7, and could potentially make his NFL debut tomorrow if he’s active vs. New England.

Bo Scarbrough, who was designated to return from Injured Reserve by Detroit back on October 14, was activated for Week 7 by the team. Scarbrough joins a crowded backfield that already includes Adrian Peterson, Kerryon Johnson, and D’Andre Swift.

More COVID-19 cancellations – Bola Olaniyan and Krystal Rivers both had postponements today due to ongoing quaranties as a result of positive tests last week. Kelly Kretschman also had a game canceled today for a more conventional reason – rain.

The NFL’s social media team compiled Derrick Henry’s 10 longest plays from scrimmage. Enjoy!
