Derrick Henry rushed for a career-high 250 yards and 2 touchdowns, as Tennessee defeated Houston 41-38 to win the AFC South. Henry finished the season with 2,027 yards, which is the fifth-most in NFL history and a Titan/Oiler franchise record. Henry is just the 8th running back to run for more than 2,000 yards in a season.
Henry wins the NFL rushing title by an astounding 470 yards. He’s the first back-to-back rushing champion since LaDainian Tomlinson in 20006-2007. Henry’s 2 touchdowns gave him 17 for the season, which also led the league. Henry becomes the first running back to win the rushing “triple crown” (lead the league in rushing attempts, rushing yards, and rushing touchdowns) in consecutive seasons since the late 60s.
Henry’s 250 yard game was his 3rd 200-yard game of the season, and was also his 3rd consecutive 200+ yard game against the Houston Texans. It’s the first time anyone has rushed for 200+ yards against the same team in three consecutive games. Henry also became the first person in NFL history to have 5 games of 200+ yards rushing and 2+ rushing touchdowns.

Josh Jacobs rushed for 89 yards today, putting him over the 1,000 yard mark for the second consecutive season.

Xavier McKinney picked an opportune time for his first career interception – an end zone INT with less than 2 minutes left to preserve New York’s lead, as well as its lingering playoff hopes. McKinney finished with 8 tackles.

Jerry Jeudy had a career high 140 receiving yards today, capped off by this 92-yard touchdown.

AJ McCarron finishes the season playing just two snaps. The second came today with McCarron lined up as the up-back in punt formation, and he threw this beauty of a pass for a first down on the fake punt.

JaMychal Green’s playing time ramped up significantly in his second game for Denver today, playing 27 minutes off the bench. Green had 14 points and 5 rebounds in a big road win for the Nuggets.

Adam Morgan has reportedly signed a minor league contract with the Chicago Cubs, which includes an invitation to spring training. Morgan, who had spent his entire career in the Philadelphia organization, underwent flexor surgery late last season, and was non-tendered by the Phillies at season’s end.
