DeVonta Smith isn’t a pro just yet, but he joined an elite fraternity tonight when he was awarded the 2020 Heisman Trophy. Here is fellow Heisman winner Mark Ingram narrating a salute to Smith.

There appears to be some fall-out from Philadelphia coach Doug Pederson’s decision to pull Jalen Hurts in a one-score game Sunday, and replace him with back-up Nate Sudfeld. Players were reportedly upset on the sidelines with the decision, with running back Miles Sanders speaking publicly.

Xavier McKinney spoke with the New York media today to recap his rookie season. McKinney talked about building on the strong finish to his season, where he finds motivation, and how the Giants’ program is similar to Alabama’s. He also discussed calling out Skip Bayless in a tweet after Sunday’s game.

Caroline Hardy, most recently a volunteer assistant for Georgia Tech, has accepted a full-time assistant softball coach position with Young Harris College in north Georgia.

Jedrick Wills was cited from street racing with teammate Rashard Higgins this morning in Cleveland. The charge is a misdemeanor.

The Athletic’s weekly data analysis column includes a look at Collin Sexton’s recent scoring explosion.

Not sure it was necessary, but Miami Dolphin general manager Chis Grier reiterated today that Tua Tagovailoa will be the team’s starting quarterback going forward.
