Daily Recap – January 31, 2021

Jereem Richards won the 200 meter run at the 2nd installment of the American Track League series in Fayetteville. Richards’ time was 20.74 seconds.

JaMychal Green scored all 9 of his points in the 4th quarter today to help Denver with a win over Utah.

It missed our cut-off last night, but Pelicans coach Stan Van Gundy was asked about Kira Lewis’ playing time after last night’s game. Van Gundy: “He’s pretty much a pure point guard and has nice pace to his game. As I’ve said the only thing he needs to do is get from 160 to maybe 175, and get from 19 years old to maybe 20 or 21. He’s just so young. But he does so many good things.” So if Lewis can gain 15 pounds and age 2 years by the end of the season, we can look forward to an increase in playing time.

GQ Sports’ latest installment of its “How I Spent My First Million” series features Kareem Jackson.

All signs are pointing towards the Dallas Cowboys constructing its secondary around Trevon Diggs.

A recruiting Zoom call between Nick Saban and a prospect was captured and published on social media. While the contents present Alabama in a favorable light, former players weren’t too pleased with the privacy violation.
