The Detroit Tigers announced today that Spencer Turnbull will undergo Tommy John surgery later this month. Turnbull will miss the remainder of the 2021 season and a substantial portion of the 2022 season as well. Turnbull has been sidelined with a forearm injury that had previously been described as muscular in nature, but recent tests apparently revealed chronic damage to the elbow.
Michael Thompson defends his 3M Open title this week in Minnesota, and did a press conference today in advance of this weeks’ tournament. Thompson was also featured on Golf Channel’s “PGA TOUR: The Cut,” in a segment that looks at his hobby of restoring cars. Both segments are below.
