A day after a visit and physical, Kenyan Drake has been signed by the Baltimore Ravens.
Reports this morning had O.J. Howard taking a visit to the Cincinnati Bengals. However, Cincinnati signed another tight end today, seemingly putting any signing of Howard on hold.
Alex Leatherwood was claimed off waivers by the Chicago Bears. The Bears are responsible for the remaining $5.9 million on Leatherwood’s rookie contract, and will also inherit the 5th year option.
Rashad Johnson has been hired by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a defensive assistant. Johnson participated in the Bill Walsh Coaching Fellowship program as an intern with the Buccaneers this summer.
Krystal Goodman has been named assistant softball coach at Radford University.
A day after making the initial 53-man roster of the Indianapolis Colts, Tony Brown was released today to make room for a waiver claim by the Colts. Brown was then added to the Colts’ practice squad.
Deonte Brown, Miller Forristall, LaBryan Ray, and Saivion Smith all were signed to the practice squads of their respective teams a day after being waived.
