In a surprise move today, the Los Angeles Rams waived Terrell Lewis. Lewis, drafted in the third round of the 2020 draft, is in the 3rd year of his 4-year rookie contract, and has battled injuries throughout his career. Lewis is subject to waiver claims, and would be a free agent if he clears waivers on Saturday.
The Utah Jazz announced that Collin Sexton, out since last week with a hamstring today, was re-examined yesterday and is progressing towards recovery. He is now considered to be day-to-day.
After missing another practice today, Quinnen Williams’ availability for this weekend looks in doubt.
C.J. Mosley says that the New York Giants have a lot of respect for upcoming opponent Detroit’s running game.
