NFL Draft – Day 3 Recap
Day 3 was a quieter day for the Alabama contingency at the NFL Draft. Henry To’oTo’o had his name called by the Houston Texans with the 32nd pick of the 5th round, and DeMarcco Hellams was tabbed by the Atlanta Falcons with the 7th pick of the 7th round.
After the drafted, D.J. Dale (with Buffalo), Emil Ekiyor (with Indianapois), Jaylen Moody (with Cincinnati), Kendall Randolph (with Seattle), and Eli Ricks (with Philadelphia) reportedly agreed to terms with teams as undrafted free agents.
The final tally for Alabama was 10 players drafted, which marks the fifth time in the last seven drafts that Alabama has had 10 or more players drafted.

Cheyenne Knight shot a 3rd round 67 to grab the lead at the JM Eagle LA Championship. Knight, -9, leads by two strokes, and she’ll try to pick up her second career win on the LPGA Tour.
Kirani James opened his 2023 season with a second place finish in the Men’s 400 Meter at the Botswana Garden Grand Prix.
Wilson Furr, needing a strong finish ahead of next week’s reshuffle, was -6 through 10 holes in second round play before play was halted for the night at the Korn Ferry Tour stop in Huntsville. Furr is T14 at the rain-shortened event, which concludes tomorrow. A Top 25 will guarantee Furr a spot in the next KFT event, and the strong finish will improve his ranking after the reshuffle.
Alex Reese’s successful season in Luxembourg came to an end today, as Amicale Steesel was eliminated in the LBBL Championship series, 3-1. Resse finished the season average 23.7 points and 12.9 rebounds per game.
