Minkah Fitzpatrick was released from the hospital shortly after last night’s games after scans came back negative. Fitzpatrick left last night’s game with a chest contusion in the 3rd quarter and was taken to a nearby hospital as a precaution.

Shaun Alexander and Cornelius Bennett are once again are on the first list of Modern-Era nominees for the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The nominee list has 173 players, and will be cut to 25 semifinalists in November.

Levi Wallace showed Amari Cooper a lot of respect after last night’s game: “I’m exhausted…. I need an IV… Amari had me running a track meet. You just don’t understand.”

Casey Cobb and the Greenville Drive won the South Atlantic League championship tonight with a 2-0 series win over Hudson Valley.
