Both golfers went into their respective tour championships outside of the cut lines for securing PGA/LPGA tour cards, and both posted Top 10 finishes to secure tour promotions. Furr, with a T-6th finish at the Korn Ferry Tour Championship, moved from 32nd to 24th in the final tour standings and secured a PGA Tour card. Gillman finished birdie-eagle at the Epson Tour Championship to finish T-4th, which moved her from 13th to 10th in the final standings.
