The Sacramento Kings have signed Keon Ellis to a new three-year contract, which will take him through his team-controlled years. Ellis had been on his second two-way contract with the Kings, though he had yet to appear in a G League game this season.
Per his agent, Donta Hightower will be joining the New England Patriots’ coaching staff as a linebackers coach. Hightower, who won three Super Bowls with the Patriots, retired two seasons ago. This will be his first foray into coaching.
Saketh Myneni and partner Ramkumar Ramanathan have advanced to the finals of the ATP Chennai Open. Myneni and Ramanathan have defeated both the 2-seeds and 3-seeds thus far in the tournament.
