On back-to-back nights, Robertson struck out the Dodgers’ vaunted lineup of Mookie Betts, Shohei Ohtani, and Freddie Freeman in succession in the 8th inning. Robertson is the only pitcher to strike out the 3 perennial all-stars in succession this season.
Runner-up this week is Erin Routliffe. At the rain-plagued Rothesay Open, Routliffe and partner Gabby Dabrowski won three matches in 24 hours, and saved a match point in the finals. With the win, Routliffe moved up to 2nd in the WTA doubles rankings.
