Your Alabama Pro Athlete of the Week is Filippa Fotopoulou. Fotopoulou finished first in the women’s long jump in two separate meets this week. Her jump of 6.78 meters at the Kifisia Jump Meet qualified her for this summer’s European World Championships.


Runner-up this week is Thomas Ponder. Ponder finished third at the KIA Open de Ecuador, matching his career-best finish on PGA Tour Americas.
